Resolve an Access Denied to Billing Reports error
What to do when you see an Access Denied to Billing Reports error as you’re linking your Stax and AWS accounts.
When using the Stax Cost & Compliance module, you may receive an error message stating Access Denied to Detailed Billing Reports: We were unable to access the specified S3 bucket. This error means that Stax was unable to access the S3 bucket to retrieve your AWS accounts' billing reports.
The error means Stax can’t use the IAM role it created, or make the specific calls it needs to make to the bucket. Your team will need to identify what, in your account setup, is denying us permission to use these things, and correct those issues before we can link your AWS account.
