Is my account part of a Consolidated Bill?
How to check to see if your AWS account uses consolidated billing
- Log into the AWS console, click on your user or account name at top-right, and select My Billing Dashboard from the dropdown.
- Click Consolidated Billing.
- Click the Go to your organisation button.
Tip: If you don’t have an Organization set up in AWS, you’ll need to create one.
- On the AWS Organizations page, you’ll see a list of your organization’s accounts. Find the account with the star — this is the master account, or root account.
If the account you’re linking to Stax isn’t the one with the star, then it’s part of a consolidated bill, so you don’t need to enter the billing bucket name into Stax.
