Increasing Service Quotas
Amazon Web Services places quotas (formerly, limits) on the usage of each AWS service. Some quotas can have their limits increased.
Service quotas are imposed by AWS to help guarantee availability and quality of resources and services, as well as to protect against bill shock.
Before You Begin
- Estimated time to complete: 5 minutes
- Ensure you are a member of the Admin role in your Stax tenancy
- Ensure you understand which ownership model applies to your Stax-managed AWS accounts
Requesting AWS Service Quota Increase
If your management account is reseller-owned, you must request AWS service quota increases by raising a support case in the Stax Console.
If your management account is customer-owned, you should log in to the AWS account's Service Quotas console and request the increase directly.
